Edward Bobit 00001-20001 oldest son of John & Lodicia Bobbitt

John Bobbitt father of Edward Bobbitt (above) arrived in Washington DC as a surveyor after 1800 & was sent to Alabama
He married Lodicia and was on 1820 census of Shelby Co AL
Before 1830 he had gotten a land grant & moved to Carroll Co, TN
His widow & family (on the 1830 census Carroll Co., TN) moved to Poinsett Co, AR by 1838, boundry changes later put them in Greene Co
